As a sympathetic allegory for slowness and aesthetics against the performance society, Florian Bögner and Zinnia Nomura compare the life of the sloth with the lives of performing artists. How are habitats threatened? How does the sloth deal with this?
In the style of a BBC nature documentary, the narrator takes the audience on a journey into the jungle to the everyday life of the sloth. Peppered with facts about the sloth experience
viewers experience two sloths on a vertical rope and trapeze. But the animals are threatened by humans and fight against it in their very own way.
With humour and drama, the play deals with themes of environment and species protection, life after death, life as an artist, slowness and deceleration.
